Recipe of the day: Badaami Murgh

INGREDIENTS
Chopped boneless chicken breast
Soaked and sliced almonds (in warm water)
1 tbsp poppy seeds
2 tbsp clarified butter
1 tbsp cumin seeds
2 Bay leaves
1 inch cinnamon
2-3 green cardomom
2 medium onions
1 tbsp ginger paste
1 tbsp garlic paste
1 tbsp red chilly powder
Salt as per taste
1 tbsp Garam Masala

METHOD
Make a paste of soaked poppy seeds and almonds
Heat some oil in the pan and add some cumin seeds, cinnamon, bay leaves, cardomom and stir
Add onion
Add ginger paste and stir continuously without covering with the lid.
Add the paste of poppy seeds and almonds to the mix.
Add red chilly powder
Add Garam Masala and salt, and stir
Add the chicken pieces, stir, cover the lid and cook for five minutes on high flame
Once it’s done, garnish the preparation with soaked almond pieces.
Cover the lid again without flame and the delicious Badaam Murgh is ready to eat!
